TCC Meeting #24 of 2025
Last Thursday, on October 9, The Corridor Counts, Inc., met to speak about a number of issues. The group discussed Attorney General Letitia James’s vindictive indictment by the Department of Justice for alleged mortgage fraud, as well as the abuse of the overall criminal process in this matter. Members heard an update about the completed voter’s guide and our plans to mail it to homes in The Corridor.
In addition, the group heard positive responses from the candidates that TCC has endorsed in the 2025 elections. Members spoke about the planned town hall with RAPP, New Hour, Long Island Progressive Coalition, and Center for Community Alternatives about harm reduction and community safety on October 16th at 6 pm in Hempstead.
Lastly, the group ended the night by finalizing the letter to elected officials in The Corridor relating to ICE and the death of Santos Banegas Reyes in the Nassau County Jail.
TCC meets every Thursday at 6:30 pm at 556 Peninsula Blvd. Hempstead, NY 11550. Please join us in this important work.
