TCC Meeting #20 of 2025
Last Thursday, on September 11, The Corridor Counts, Inc. welcomed Dr. Joylette Williams to speak about her candidacy for Nassau County Clerk. She proposed lower fees for property transfer between parents and their children, provisions for homeowners and aspiring homeowners to afford life on Long Island, making services available in all parts of Nassau County - especially the Town of Hempstead, and creating a series of workshops for seniors to protect their homes from deed scams. In addition, members discussed the importance of early voting (which begins on October 25th), announced the annual raffle sale, and made plans for a protest and demonstration at Hempstead Town Hall on September 16th.
TCC meets every Thursday at 6:30 pm at 556 Peninsula Blvd. Hempstead, NY 11550. All are welcome to join!
